Bosses run on tells
Every boss attack has a tell before it lands. A color shift, a pause, or a wind-up warns you what comes next.
Learning the tell is faster than memorizing damage. Watch the boss, not your own tears.
Reading the first phase
Most bosses open with a fixed pattern. The first phase repeats, so you can learn it safely.
Use this phase to find the safe spot. Every arena has a corner or gap that dodges the default attack.
The burst and the lull
Bosses tend to burst, then rest. The lull is your window to deal damage.
Trading damage during the burst usually loses. Wait for the pause and spend it on offense.
Minions and adds
Some bosses summon help. The adds can corner you while the boss attacks from range.
Clear the adds when they block your escape. A crowded room turns a simple dodge into a trap.
